Commitment to Contractors
Our commitments to our contractors
As a company Infopeople specialises in providing
not only contract employment for computer professionals
but also wishes to provide an environment for our
contractors which is supportive in terms of the way we
represent you to our clients, provide you with
subsidised training, access to a laboratory for you to
become familiar with the latest software and also to
assist you with obtaining certification in the latest
technologies. Infopeople also rewards its valued
contractors with training credits, which can be used
towards achieving this certification
Infopeople at all times will conduct itself in a
professional manner in the way it represents you to a
prospective client, initially and during the term of the
contract.
This will include:
- To always seek permission from you before
submitting your details to a prospective client.
- To accurately represent your skills to any
prospective client.
- To provide you with accurate details relative to
any contract available.
- To provide you with feedback on your performance
on a regular basis and counsel you where problems do
occur.
- To assist you with any problems you have. This
would include all work and peer/management issues
that may occur whilst you are on site.
- To take responsibility for negotiating for you any
rate increases relevant to a contract renewal or
renegotiation.
- To commence seeking other contract opportunities 4
weeks prior to the completion of your existing
contract.
- To counsel you on training needs and provide
opportunities for you to access subsidised training.
- To offer training credits (free training days) for
long term contractors.
- To ensure that you are happy with the contract
being undertaken and if this does not occur,
Infopeople will endeavour to find an alternative
contract for you and negotiate an early termination
with the client.
- Should you decide to change your status from a
contract to permanent role, we will work with you to
facilitate an appropriate career change.
Our Business Partnership
In return, Infopeople expects the following from
you:
- To understand that whilst you are on contract to
Infopeople you are seen as our representative and
as such we would expect that you would conduct
yourself in a manner which would be professional and
focussed on the company's needs.
- That signing of our contract for a period of time
commits you to completing your assignment for the
time specified. Please understand you are legally
bound to complete the assignment or project that you
have signed to undertake.
- As Infopeople undertakes all financial
negotiations for and on your behalf and in
consultation with you, we ask that you not negotiate
any rates or new component of your work arrangements
directly with our client. This applies for either
yourself as an individual or the company you are
employed by.
- As we have a long term vested interest in you and
in our client we request that you inform us
immediately of any problems on site or any personal
issues which may affect your work or performance so
as we can assist you immediately with resolving the
problem.
- The fees that Infopeople charges for your
services to our clients is separate from any
negotiations we may have with yourself. In being
consistent with our commitment to our long term
relationship with both candidate and client, we are
happy to discuss the fees with our clients with you.
