IT has been the largest growing industry and recent projections would seem to indicate that this growth would continue but not at the accelerated rate that has been experienced in the past few years.

Players involved in this industry include:

  • Vendors who make computers and related equipment (hardware)
  • Companies that write programs and systems (software)
  • IT and management consultancies (these will include outsourcing suppliers, recruitment agencies, information suppliers, IT Trainers and so forth)
  • Organisations using IT
