would seem to indicate that this growth would continue but not at
the accelerated rate that has been experienced in the past few
years.

Players involved in this industry include:
- Vendors who make computers and related equipment (hardware)
- Companies that write programs and systems (software)
- IT and management consultancies (these will include
outsourcing suppliers, recruitment agencies, information
suppliers, IT Trainers and so forth)

The product lifecycle

indicate how different jobs integrate, as well as giving an idea of
the variety of tasks involved in bringing any IT project to
completion.

- Requirement Analysis – functional requirements
- System Design and Development – design and development
- System Testing – testing systems to ensure fool proof
- System Installation – systems to be installed into its
working environment
- Support and Maintenance – maintenance, training, helpdesk,
etc
