Our History

How we got to who we are

Infopeople commenced operation in May 1992 under the guise of Cowdell McNally Consulting (CMC) – a niche IT operations and networking recruitment company. CMC rapidly expanded its services to encompass all facets of IT recruitment from helpdesk through to IT Managers.

In early 2000, CMC merged with Recruiters Australia Limited – a publicly listed company and rebranded to become Infopeople Recruiters. During mid 2001, Infopeople divested from RAL to become a complete stand alone ICT recruitment services business.

Thus today, Infopeople remains a fully Australian owned, private company with a proud tradition of providing quality IT professionals and building enduring long term relationships with our Clients.
